Biography:

It was during a stint of work experience whilst he trained at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London, that Stephen “fell into” making hats.

Since then, and having decided to work for himself, Stephen’s creations have been worn by a number of superstars including Christina Aguilera, Mick Jagger, Dita von Teese and Kylie Minogue. But not only does he make haute couture headwear, his ready-to-wear creations can often be found at weddings and the annual Ascot event.

Referred to as “the maker of the most beautiful hats in the world” by Italian Vogue – as well as being credited with the revival of British millinery – Stephen would love more young people to get into the business.
